“Printed fabrics are making a big come back this Spring/Summer 2011. Tile prints, Ikats, African tribal patterns, huge geometrics and flowers of all sizes, Airbrush stroke effects and pattern mix will be well taken throughout 2011.”~ patterncolordesign.wordpress.com To get this trend, check out our new sublimation tees that can be layered with one of our basic ¾ sleeved shirts this spring. Get funky and try one of our colored ¾ sleeved tees layered underneath our “trendsetting” tribal sublimation tees.
The perks of graphic prints is the ability to substitute accessories. "Graphic prints speak for themselves and won’t require additional accessories including jewelry, belts and other details to complete a wardrobe." -dailyfashionstyle.com
Teen Vogue Says: “You don’t have to be a world traveler to embrace this playful mix of graphic patterns including ikat, African fabrics, and plaids. From LAMB to MIssoni, the runway was a delightful smorgasbord of vibrant patterns inspired by everything from African fabrics to American prep staples. Forget everything your mother told you about mixing prints- for this look, the more you pile on the better! To get the trend just right, try mix n matching motifs with at least one thing in common, whether it be color palette, size or common graphic line. Most importantly: wear it with utter confidence! “
Very nice this is both upscale and a little bit hippie. In recent years the fashion world is blending the two. The use of tie dye is a great example of this.

So glad the blog's back & hope you keep posting throughout the year! I really like the bit below about turning runway trends into something we can wear!
Also, wanted to mention, something you should sell: I've seen this from various providers & think it'd be perfect for those who find a lovely top or dress that's perfect except at the chest. It's a triangle-shaped piece of fabric that you tie to your bra straps & it gives an extra layer at the chest without the bulk or warmth of a full shirt. Especially helpful in the summer!
